It is a great honour to be elected president of these conventions. Submitting these international awards is of a great enthusiasm for the business community, and with a special optimism we look at the future.

B.I.D. is a business distinguished organization from an exceptional quality. The traditional emphasis both in quality and leadership, symbolized by the star flashes of the trophies, it has been constantly maintained in the last 21 years. This tradition is currently performed thanks to the original contribution of the QC100 creators, passionate both by theory and practice.

For over than 21 years, the awards and the quality model QC100- joint in the support of the collaborative projects and entrenched in an imaginary synthesis of engineering and science with arts, humanities and of a large social context- are provide as an inspiration to the awardees, recognized for its important work, leadership and for enrich lives.

Leadership and Quality

Nowadays, the role played in the business world by QC100 is significantly different from when B.I.D. started 21 years ago in Spain and United States. Our mission has expanded beyond recognition, to become a catalyst in the creation of business communities, strong and oriented towards quality, building societies, all working on the way to a common goal.

We are deeply committed on listening to the business entrepreneurs’ community, CEOs, founders, service providers and to make responsible and informed decisions. Our strategic leadership plan is based on the priority problems that we have long-term identified as important for leadership and for our international business community welfare.

We have adopted simple guidelines in order to focus on what really matters while we look to the future:

• We must be cautious when giving the causes of business performances and their conditions, bringing the different sectors to address the issues that affect us all
• We must promote opportunities to learn and share best practices
• And we must work together in different ways, uniting all sectors in our work

I am very happy to be part of these International Quality Conventions, and I assure you that our sponsors and theirs 100,000 associated companies will continue doing what it matters – that is, improving the welfare of people living in our global community.

We have nourished a large number of strategic business and established the quality model QC100 using our strengths – velocity, innovation spirit and a high efficiency. Meanwhile, we have strengthened the financial base that feeds our business portfolio carrying out “an intensive development in areas of quality” and completely reinventing public interests.
